Inspired by my recent trip to Morocco, I sought to capture the essence of its rich landscapes and culture in the design of this boutique optician's shop, which I've named "moors".
The majestic expanses of the Sahara, the rugged textures of the Atlas Mountains, and the warm hues of the Marrakech medina walls have been distilled into a contemporary space that marries the allure of Moroccan aesthetics with the precision of modern design.
The shelves, with their sleek metal finish, exude a futuristic allure, standing in stark contrast to the warm, textured walls and the understated floor.
This contrast is deliberate, bringing forth a sophisticated interplay between the cutting-edge design of the shelving and the earthy, tactile quality of the boutique's interior. The metal's reflective quality captures light and space, creating an illusion of floating displays that bring a sense of modernity and progression to the traditional backdrop.
